Baltia, “The Tree Building” is a mix-use residential project in the north of the city of Mérida, Yucatan. It is composed of 75 apartments and four luxury penthouses, with more than 980 m2
of comfortable amenities, among which there are pet-park areas, outdoor cinema, kid’s room and teen’s room, as well as social areas for adults. There is also a commercial base and a level
destined for coworking offices. The building counts with a total of 15 levels plus an underground parking lot.
“The Big Tree” is the heart and main element of the development, planted to bring life to the project in general and specitically the social area where it’s located. It seeks to create spaces where the users will come together living the same lifestyle. These spaces merge design and nature into ideal recreational areas to create new memories and sensations. It has outdoor gardens and open spaces, including an urban orchard and a beach-style pool.
Respect for nature is part of the design concept, which is why we have sought to integrate certain vegetation on the facades, setting the amenities with a beach and jungle environment, in such a way that it is not perceived as an urban building but as a holiday building.
